Check MTG Reality Fracture delays by product and region

Wizards' regional delay notice, updated September 28, lists North American delays for Reality Fracture Bundles—the booster gift boxes with extras—and Omega Collector Boosters, the single Collector Boosters sold at larger retailers. Other Collector Boosters and Commander decks are partly delayed there. Mexico and New Zealand have different exceptions, detailed below.

Reality Fracture is Magic: The Gathering's October expansion. Its tabletop release date was October 2, 2026. Shipping schedules vary by product and region, so ask your store when your chosen product will arrive before placing an order.

What is still on schedule

Play Boosters (the normal draft and sealed-event packs) and Prerelease Packs were scheduled for the set’s release and September 25 prerelease events, with two regional exceptions. Mexico’s delay covers all Reality Fracture products, while New Zealand’s delay affects Prerelease Packs. The regional details below explain the updated event timing.

Wizards still warns that North America Play Booster supply may feel tight in the weeks after release.

What may land late (by region)

• North America: Bundles and Omega Collector Boosters are delayed. Collector Boosters, Reality Fracture Commander decks, and Foundations Commander decks are partially delayed, with limited availability possible through release.
• Asia-Pacific: Collector Boosters, Bundles, and Reality Fracture Commander decks are delayed and may arrive after release. Foundations Commander decks are unaffected. In New Zealand, Prerelease Packs are delayed and the original prerelease events were canceled automatically; stores can reschedule them for October 2–8. Other Reality Fracture products in New Zealand are unaffected.
• Europe / Middle East / Africa: Collector Boosters delayed with tight supply; Secret Lair Bundles delayed.
• Japan: Collector Boosters, Reality Fracture Commander decks, and Foundations Commander decks delayed (may miss Prerelease timing).
• Latin America: Bundles are delayed. Collector Boosters and both Commander products are partially delayed. In Mexico, all Reality Fracture products are delayed and expected to reach stores in the first week of October. Ask your local game store directly for its updated prerelease schedule.

Timelines are fluid — check your local game store or retailer before you plan a day-one Bundle pickup.
