Choose your Reality Fracture cards before you choose your packs.

What are echoed pairs?

Jace, a wizard who works with minds and illusions, has created the Echoverse: another reality with alternate versions of familiar people. Echoed pairs put those counterparts on two separate cards, each with its own name and abilities. Every Play and Collector Booster includes a matching pair, but getting the borderless artwork is a random pull.

The borderless Chandra pair joins an ice-wielding counterpart to the fire-wielding Chandra. Place Chill of Compliance on the left and Torch of Defiance on the right to complete the scene. Search both full names when buying singles, since “Chandra” leaves rather a lot to the imagination.

The right half has a different name and rules text. Match the finish of both halves if you want a consistent display.

Which packs contain the art you want?

A treatment is a card’s particular artwork, frame or foil finish. The same card name can have several versions, so include the treatment and collector number in your search. Find that number at the lower left of these cards. The table describes where a version can appear; buying that pack does not guarantee the card.

How do you tell the two shattered mirror finishes apart?

Facet foil is the Collector-only shattered mirror finish. Stingcaster Mage shows why the collector number matters: the non-foil version is #329, while the facet foil version is #457. A shop listing should name the finish as well as the card. These official digital renders help compare the versions, but check photographs of a physical card before judging its surface or condition.

Fracture foil belongs to the Japan Showcase treatment, which has different artwork. The two foil names are easy to mix up when you have a cart open and dinner on the stove.

What comes in each box?

These are US suggested retail prices from Wizards of the Coast, checked October 2, 2026. Stores set their own prices. Compare the contents you will use rather than treating the box’s entire price as the cost of its packs.

For opening packs or drafting

Play Boosters

Start here if you enjoy the surprise and want cards to play with. You can also collect several of the set’s art treatments from these packs.

For exclusive foil treatments

Collector Boosters

Choose these when the finish you want requires them. Serialized Bloodline Recollector appears in fewer than 1% of packs; a box gives you no promise of one.

A fixed 100-card Commander deck

Multiverse Reforged

Commander is Magic’s multiplayer format. This deck is ready to play, with two foil borderless commanders and 98 other cards. Some special versions of its cards also appear in Collector Boosters.

Nine Play Boosters and storage

Bundle

A straightforward gift if the recipient likes opening Play Boosters and could use the box, lands and die.

Six Play and two Collector Boosters

Secret Lair Bundle

The two promo cards are selected from ten possible designs. Buy the specific promos separately if completing that group is your goal.

Packs and supplies for a draft

Draft Night

Drafting means opening packs, choosing cards and passing the rest around the table. Agree how to use the included Collector Booster before everyone sits down.

Which art project fits your binder?

A two-card scene needs neighboring pockets. The ten Special Guests cards form a panorama that wraps around, so their neighbor order stays the same even when you choose a different starting card. A single nine-pocket page leaves one card homeless; plan a larger display or spread the group across two pages.

For a smaller project, the tower basic lands offer three-card vertical scenes. Each of the five basic land types has its own tower. The Island sequence below runs from #385 at the top to #387 at the bottom, making it a natural fit for one binder column. Our Reality Fracture art story shows the character pairs and the full Special Guests lineup.

Is everything available on release day?

October 19 update: Wizards says production and shipping problems have delayed the Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle worldwide. It may arrive shortly after its October 23 release date, but timing varies locally, so check with your store before planning a pickup. Secret Lair Bundles bought as part of Chaos Vault bundles follow Secret Lair’s usual fulfillment process, which depends on drop availability and production timing.

September 28 regional context: Wizards’ regional delay notice reported late or reduced shipments for several products. In North America, Bundles and the single-pack Omega Collector product were delayed, with some Collector Booster and Commander shipments also affected. These are the September 28 details, not a current stock check; ask your store what has actually arrived.

That September 28 update said all Reality Fracture products in Mexico were delayed and expected to reach stores in the first week of October. New Zealand’s delay affected Prerelease Packs, and stores could reschedule events for October 2–8; its other Reality Fracture products were unaffected. Ask your local store for current availability and event timing.
