Pokémon deck tools

Build the deck out of the cards already in your binders.

FoilFox takes a deck list, checks it against every card you have scanned, and hands back the builds you could sleeve tonight. Each one shows the copies you would still need, how much of the list it changed, and the exact chance your opening seven holds a Basic. If you have used a daily lineup optimizer for fantasy sports, this is the same idea with your own collection as the player pool, except the numbers are draw math rather than projections.

What happens when you run a list

1

Start from a list

Pick a reference deck, which carries a link to where the list was published, or work from one you already keep. FoilFox does not rank decks and does not publish a tier list, so nothing here is telling you what is good this weekend.

2

It reads your binders

Every row is matched to the exact printing and finish you scanned, so the reverse holo in your binder counts as the copy it is. What you do not own is counted as missing rather than assumed.

3

Compare the builds

You get up to six, and each is the best on the board at something: the opening chance, the copies you still need, what those copies cost, or how little of the list it touched.

Six builds, and what each one costs you

A build stays on this list only while no other build beats it on all four columns at once. That is the whole ranking. There is no score and no recommended pick, because the trade you are willing to make is yours.

Build Basics in 60 Opening seven holds a Basic 0 to 100% Copies you still need Cost to finish order only Cards changed

The cost bars show the order the optimizer found, not prices. In the app every row carries a dated market estimate for the copies you are missing, and when a copy has no estimate on file the row stays unknown instead of counting as free. This is a frontier of the swaps FoilFox evaluated for one list, not the best deck in the game.

The check never comes back as a pass. It reports what it read against the Standard rules reviewed on 7 September 2026, then tells you what is left: release eligibility, functional reprints, bans, errata and the requirements of your event are still yours to confirm.

Why these numbers hold up

Every figure starts in your collection

The optimizer works from the printings you scanned and the rules FoilFox has read. It never reaches for a win rate, a tier or a share of the weekend field, because we do not have those numbers and would be making them up.

Draw odds, not a projection

The opening-hand figures are the exact chance of drawing at least one of those copies from a 60-card deck. The same list gives the same number every time, and you can check it on paper.

Nothing moves until you apply it

Choosing a build shows you the swap first. Applying it checks again against your current draft, what you own, the cards you locked and how fresh the prices are, and it never writes to your collection on its own.
