Which set has the movie you want

Lorcana’s first English set, The First Chapter, came out in August 2023, and a new set has followed about every three months since. The table lists the films in each set and the cards collectors want most from it. Most films appear in more than one set, so a character you love may have several different cards across the years.

Toy Story, The Incredibles and Monsters, Inc.

Pixar arrived in Lorcana with Wilds Unknown in May 2026, which brought in Toy Story, The Incredibles and Brave. Its two Iconic cards, Buzz Lightyear — Jungle Ranger and Merida — Formidable Archer, are the set’s headline cards, and Jessie, Mr. Incredible and one of the Toy Story aliens appear as Enchanted cards alongside the song You’ve Got a Friend in Me.

As of 5 October 2026, Attack of the Vine! is the newest released English set, with Hyperia City still to come. Released in July, it is the Monsters, Inc. set and also brings in Up and Turning Red. Several of its Enchanted cards show two characters together, so the Sulley and Boo card Monsters, Inc. fans want is a single card with both of them. The set’s two Iconics are Belle & Beast — Certain as the Sun and Lilo & Stitch — Fun-Loving Friends, and its Woody & Buzz Lightyear Enchanted is a separate card from the Iconic Buzz in Wilds Unknown.

The earlier sets: Frozen, Encanto, The Lion King and more

The First Chapter launched the game with Frozen, Fantasia, Lilo & Stitch, The Lion King and several princesses, and its Enchanted Elsa — Spirit of Winter is still the best-known card from that launch. Rise of the Floodborn followed with Cinderella and Snow White, and Into the Inklands brought DuckTales and TaleSpin, along with the first Enchanted cards that are actions and items rather than characters. Ursula’s Return is where Encanto first appears, including the Enchanted song Look at This Family.

Shimmering Skies is best known for its Lion King cards, led by Enchanted Mufasa — Ruler of Pride Rock. Azurite Sea has a nautical theme with Big Hero 6, Rescue Rangers and The Princess and the Frog, and Archazia’s Island leans on Frozen 2, Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast. Reign of Jafar returns to Aladdin and adds a new Enchanted Stitch, Experiment 626.

Fabled onward: the first Iconic cards

Fabled, released in August 2025, was the first set with Iconic cards, led by a Mickey and Minnie pair: Mickey Mouse — Brave Little Prince and Minnie Mouse — Sweetheart Princess. The sets since have kept Iconic cards at the top. Whispers in the Well has Ariel and Hades and brings in Sleepy Hollow and Gargoyles, Winterspell has Moana and Pocahontas alongside a new Enchanted Elsa, and Wilds Unknown has Buzz and Merida.

Coco arrives in October

Hyperia City is the next set and the first with Coco cards. Prerelease begins on 16 October 2026, followed by the general release on 23 October. The revealed cards include Mickey and Cinderella Iconics, nighttime Enchanteds and Miguel Rivera; the guide shows the exact versions and collecting choices.

Should you open packs or buy the card?

A starter deck is for learning to play: a ready-made 60-card deck that usually comes with one booster pack, and that booster is the only part you can’t predict. Booster packs are where Enchanted and Iconic cards come from, and you can buy them one at a time, in a 24-pack booster box, or in an Illumineer’s Trove, a gift box with eight packs, dice and a storage box.

A binder page can be about the film, the characters or the songs you love, with regular cards doing most of the work. Start with the pictures you want together, then use singles to fill the gaps. An Enchanted or Iconic can be a later addition; the page does not need one to feel complete.

For a particular card, buy the single and check the set, card number, condition and finish in the listing. Use the full card name and collector number to tell versions apart, and confirm the finish rather than relying on a shiny photograph. If you enjoy opening packs, choose an amount you are comfortable spending on the opening itself. The cards inside are random, so a larger sealed purchase does not promise your chosen card.

Does the tournament rotation affect your collection?

The July 2026 rotation changes which cards tournament players can use, not what belongs in a collection. Disney Lorcana Challenge, the official tournament series, has allowed only five sets since 17 July 2026: Fabled, Whispers in the Well, Winterspell, Wilds Unknown and Attack of the Vine!.

Older sets remain available in Infinity Constructed, subject to its own banned list. Hiram Flaversham — Toymaker has been banned in that format since 26 March 2026, when Ravensburger’s announcement took effect immediately. It can still belong in your binder or in games with friends who agree to use it. The rotation guide explains the wider rotation change.
