Flesh and Blood: Entwine Lightning leaves Classic Constructed

The September 18 update bans Entwine Lightning and brings back Brand with Cinderclaw. Here is what changes for your deck.

Flesh and Blood just changed what you can put in your tournament deck.

Classic Constructed is Flesh and Blood’s main competitive format — the one where you build a deck from the cards the rules still allow, then play at armories, road to nationals, and bigger events. When a card gets banned, you have to take it out. When a card gets unbanned, you’re allowed to put it back in.

Those card changes go live Friday, September 18, 2026.

What changes for Classic Constructed decks

  • Entwine Lightning is banned. If it was in your list, it has to come out before Friday events.
  • Brand with Cinderclaw is unbanned. It’s legal again if you want it.

Legend Story Studios says the Lightning ban is meant to slow down one hero’s “always has the answer” consistency, and the Cinderclaw unban is meant to give the Draconic Ninja pair more tools now that control decks are showing up more.

Other FaB formats got hit too

Silver Age (a different, more limited FaB format) also changes Friday: some heroes are benched for a while, some come back, and a pile of commons get banned or unbanned. If you only play Classic Constructed, skim it; if you play Silver Age, read the full list.

Rules tweaks (already in the announcement)

  • Heroes in their first Living Legend year now earn Living Legend points a bit faster (0.5× → 0.75×).
  • For the upcoming set season, there’s a trial on how games start: show heroes together, then weapons/equipment, then present decks — a middle ground short of full open decklists.

Next scheduled ban update: Monday, October 26, 2026.
