Check the shine before you check the price.
Two cards can share a name and a number and still be worth very different amounts. The set, the edition and the finish all matter, so every price here belongs to one exact version. Open a card to see its other versions side by side.
Where the numbers come from
Most prices are TCGplayer’s daily market price for that exact version. When a card has no market price, we look for other evidence and label the result a FoilFox estimate: matched eBay sold listings, a Cardmarket quote converted at that day’s ECB rate, or recent prices for comparable cards, with the comparison and sample size beside it. A card with too little evidence stays on the list as an estimate pending. Card pages may draw on more sources and show a different estimate.
Asking prices are what sellers are listing for, not completed sales, so they have their own view. None of these figures is a graded value or an offer for your copy, and condition changes what someone will pay. Every price shows the date of its evidence.
Trend lines follow the last 30 days of TCGplayer market prices for that exact card. We draw one only when every point comes from the same source and currency, so a change in where a price comes from never looks like the market moving.
