What kind of set is Twilight of the Republic?
Twilight of the Republic plays out the prequel war, with clone troopers working together, Separatist droid swarms, and Jedi mentors. Like Spark of Rebellion, it prints some heroes twice in one set, once as a leader and once as a Legendary unit.
Anakin also turns up on Weekly Play promos, which carry a promo stamp and belong to a promo set of their own. Read the set abbreviation on the card to know which Anakin you are holding.
Which Twilight of the Republic cards do collectors want?
Ahsoka Tano — Snips
$0.49TCGplayer market estimate
The Ahsoka leader. Its Showcase version, a premium version made for collectors, is the one collectors chase.
Ahsoka Tano — Always Ready For Trouble
$0.89TCGplayer market estimate
The same character as Snips, printed as a Legendary unit with a new number.
Anakin Skywalker — Maverick Mentor
$0.37TCGplayer market estimate
The Twilight Anakin people chase is a unit, not a leader. The set’s Anakin leader is What it Takes to Win, a common, so check the subtitle.
General Grievous — General of the Droid Armies
$0.71TCGplayer market estimate
The Grievous leader. Trophy Collector is his Legendary unit, and later sets, Homeworlds among them, add more Grievous cards with new subtitles.
Yoda — Sensing Darkness
$0.17TCGplayer market estimate
A Rare leader. Later Yoda cards come from other sets, so match the Sensing Darkness subtitle.
Captain Rex — Lead by Example
$0.32TCGplayer market estimate
One of two Rex cards in the set, beside the leader Fighting For His Brothers. Secrets of Power adds another Rex, Into the Firefight.
