What is in a 30th Celebration pack?
The expansion launched worldwide on 16 September 2026. Each pack holds five foil cards, including one of the thirty Pikachu illustrations, plus a foil Basic Energy. A guaranteed Pikachu can still be an illustration you already own.
Futuristic Rare is the new rarity featuring YOSHIROTTEN’s Mewtwo ex and Mew ex. Illustration Rares, abbreviated IR below, give other Pokémon a larger illustrated scene. Here are five starting points for an art-led collection; this is a selection of styles, not a ranking by price.
Tap any card image to open the full artwork in a new tab. The Pikachu checklist below shows every illustration beside its collector number.

The three RGB Mew cards add a different kind of chase
All three share YOSHIROTTEN’s illustration, with red, green and blue changing places across the design. Their exact numbers are R/RGB, G/RGB and B/RGB. Our RGB Mew guide follows the artwork back through the artist’s light installations and Mew’s original Game Boy secret.
A Mew Figure Collection includes its advertised foil promo; it does not guarantee one of these cards. Choose an RGB Mew by its lettered number and language, rather than a seller’s use of “Mew” or “anniversary.”

Classic Collection cards can appear in ordinary boosters
You can encounter returning Classic Collection cards while opening ordinary anniversary boosters, as Pokémon’s expansion page explains. The later Ultra-Premium Collection adds a separate three-card Classic Collection pack. That extra pack is a product bonus, not the only way to find the returning cards.
A familiar illustration can carry its earlier card number, so look for the anniversary mark and identify the release before comparing prices. A 2026 anniversary Charizard with Base Set artwork is an anniversary card, not a 1999 original. Classic Collection cards are not legal in Standard.
