Which Rocks, Loki and leader cards do collectors want?

Leader cards and Character cards fill different roles even when the character matches. Read the LEADER or CHARACTER type line as well as the name.

Manga-style and other alternate-art versions can share a card number with a regular printing. Compare the actual full face; a number alone does not identify the artwork.

Rocks D. Xebec

$14.00TCGplayer market estimate

The secret rare (SEC) people mean when they say “the Rocks.” His leader card is OP17-039, and the secret rare also comes in an alternate-art version and a manga-style version that share its number, so check the art as well as the number before you record it or buy it.

OP17-119 SEC

Loki

The other secret rare. It also comes in an alternate-art version, which is a different card even though the character is the same.

What is in an OP-17 booster box?

An English OP-17 booster box holds 24 packs of 12 cards. The cards that set the prices, the secret rares, the alternate-art and manga-style versions, the SP cards and the treasure rare, are random pulls, and Bandai’s product page warns that multiples of one card may appear and that a full set may be difficult to assemble.

Bandai does not print pull rates for these versions on the product page, so treat any box you open as a chance at them rather than a promise. If one version is the card you want, the single is the only sure way to get it.

Are English and Japanese OP-17 cards the same?

OP-17 came out in Japanese on 22 August 2026, six days before the English release, so both languages reached the market almost together. If you keep both languages in one binder, record the language with each card.

OP-16 The Time of Battle, released in June 2026, is the previous set and covers the Paramount War. Its manga admirals, Akainu, Kizaru and Aokiji, come from that set, so an OP-16 manga does not complete an OP-17 set even when the character matches.
